The Healers describe themselves as the ancient midwives of noise. Drawing on Ireland’s pre-Christian past, they create ‘ritual noise to cleanse, heal, deliver and end.’ Formed in 2018, they specialise in live performances using a range of analogue and electronic noise making tools. The group is made up of a trio of visual artists and musicians; Dylan Kerr, Clíona Ní Laoí and Michelle Doyle. Defying the geography of their international living situations, The Healers have facilitated previous live performances in Dublin by video calling in their members, a process they mystically describe as use of the ‘mycelium network.’ We are incredibly excited to host a performance including all three members in the flesh.
